Ohio State wide receiver Noah Rogers has put his name in the transfer portal, The Dispatch confirmed.

His entry means two out of the Buckeyes' four receivers from last year’s recruiting class are transferring as Bryson Rodgers announced earlier Sunday that he would also enter the portal following his freshman season.

Among the group of four pass catchers who signed with the Buckeyes as part of their 2023 class, Rogers was not as highly ranked as Brandon Inniss or Carnell Tate, but still among the best at the position in the cycle.

The 247Sports composite rankings had the Raleigh, North Carolina, native as the No. 53 overall prospect and No. 8 receiver in the nation.

Rogers appeared in four games this past season, but did not catch a pass.

He made a quick impression after he enrolled early for spring practice and caught a 57-yard touchdown in the spring game in April, appearing to be in line to move up the depth chart.

Four out of the eight receivers the Buckeyes have signed as part of their recruiting 2023 and 2022 classes have now transferred with Rodgers and Rogers following Kaleb Brown and Caleb Burton from last year.
