Ohio State running back Evan Pryor plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal when it opens Monday.

“Going to miss my brothers,” he wrote Sunday on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Pryor spent three seasons with the Buckeyes, but a significant knee injury limited his role in the backfield rotation and kept him lower on the depth chart.

Nov 18, 2023; Columbus, Ohio, USA; Ohio State Buckeyes running back Evan Pryor (21) runs during the second half of the NCAA football game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers at Ohio Stadium. Ohio State won 37-3.

After redshirting as a freshman in 2021, he tore the patellar tendon in his left knee in preseason training camp the following year, sidelining him for the year. It was not until preseason camp ahead of this fall that Pryor was cleared for full contact.

Pryor appeared in four games and ran for 49 yards on 19 carries and caught a pass for 2 yards in a win over Minnesota last month.
