Winery tour to offer tastes of seasonal food

Wine (and turkey) lovers can explore the wineries of northeastern Ohio during the sixth annual Grand River Valley Wine Region Turkey Trot on Saturday.

From noon to 5 p.m., Debonne Vineyards, Ferrante Winery, Grand River Cellars Winery, Laurello Vineyards and St. Joseph Vineyards will offer wine-tastings paired with favorite Thanksgiving foods.

The wineries, which are all within a 10-minute drive of one another, also will be collecting canned goods for an area food pantry. Guests who bring in a canned item will receive $1 off the $5 price of the event at each winery.
